My heart breaks when I read articles like this. Haiti is just 1,975 miles away, a mere hour and half by plane. We are the most wealthy country on the planet and even have an obesity problem yet we can't share with those starving in our own hemisphere? If you know of any way I personally can help, please share with me and all of Newsvine. Thanks.
